Jervaulx Fly Fishers is a well-established game fly fishing club based in beautiful Wensleydale, part of the Yorkshire Dales. We have an excellent and varied selection of fly fishing venues, throughout the Dale, where members can enjoy fishing for game fish on both the River Ure and at a variety of lakes for rainbow trout.
With its traditional base at Jervaulx between Masham and Middleham, the club offers a variety of fly fishing at a number of venues. There is over 2 miles of fishing on the main river at Jervaulx Abbey where you can fish for brown trout, grayling, plus three stocked lakes for rainbow and blue trout. The club has a limited amount of salmon fishing on the river Ure.
There is also fly fishing on the lake in the grounds of Thorpe Perrow estate near Bedale and additionally, further into Wensleydale, the club enjoys access to the River Ure at Swinithwaite and Bishopdale Beck for a true wild trout and grayling experience. We also have partnership arrangements with Harrogate Fly Fishers to give members access to their waters.
Jervaulx Fly Fishers offers true northern fly fishing in some of the most stunning landscapes with excellent access to all of its waters and also membership to a truly dedicated and vibrant fly fishing club. Jervaulx Fly Fishers welcomes new members of all levels of skill and experience so why not get in touch with us.
